N-Ethyl-N-(3-sulfopropyl)-3-methoxyaniline-natrium (ESP) is een selectieve agonist van de CB2-receptor. Het is structureel niet gerelateerd aan andere CB2-receptorliganden en er is aangetoond dat het werkt als een selectieve antagonist met lage affiniteit van de epidermale groeifactorreceptor. Er is ook aangetoond dat ESP een ATP-bindend cassettetransportsubstraat is en fungeert als een spanningssensor bij opnames van hele cellen. ESP heeft potentiële therapeutische toepassingen bij diabetische neuropathie en chronische pijn.
